What We Do

The Solana Foundation's marketing and communications team tells the story of what is being built on Solana. We work across developers and founders, traders and crypto-native users, institutions and capital-market participants, payments companies and merchants, enterprises and consumer platforms, and the policymakers and media who shape how all of it is understood. We are deliberately lean, fast, and close to the work.

The Opportunity

Banks, asset managers, and financial infrastructure providers are building on Solana. Tokenized assets, stablecoin rails and always-on markets have moved from thesis to pipeline. What we do not yet have is a dedicated marketing capability that speaks to those buyers in their language, at their pace, with the evidence they need.

We are looking for an Institutional Growth Marketing Lead to own that audience end to end. You will define who we are talking to, build the campaigns and content that reach them, and give our institutional business development team the material they need to move deals forward. This is a growth role with a credibility problem to solve: the work only lands if an allocator or a head of digital assets at a major bank finds it genuinely useful.

You will be based in New York, close to the institutions we serve, and will work alongside our BD, data, events and communications teams.

To be Successful in this role

You will:

• Segment the institutional and capital-markets audience down to named accounts and specific personas.
• Develop and execute integrated campaigns around tokenization and internet capital markets across owned, earned, and partner channels.
• Build sales enablement materials for Institutional BD, including narratives, decks, one-pagers, objection handling, and a maintained content library.
• Produce flagship research and reports in partnership with the Data team, creating work that gets cited rather than skimmed.
• Drive event and partnership activation alongside the Events team, with Breakpoint serving as the anchor moment.
• Measure institutional engagement and pipeline influence in partnership with BD, establishing clear success metrics and reporting results honestly.

You ideally have:

• Substantial experience marketing to institutional financial audiences - asset managers, banks, allocators, market infrastructure, or fintech serving those buyers
• Demonstrated ownership of a full-funnel program, not just campaign execution: you have defined the audience, built the plan, and been accountable for what it produced
• The ability to write with authority for a sophisticated financial reader, and the judgment to know when a claim needs a source
• Experience building sales enablement that a commercial team actually uses
• Comfort with research and data: you can brief an analysis, interrogate the output, and turn it into a narrative that holds
• A working understanding of digital assets and where tokenization, stablecoins and market structure are genuinely heading
• Fluency with AI tooling for research, segmentation, drafting and campaign analysis

Bonus points:

• You have sat on the institutional side at a bank, fund, or market infrastructure provider. You have experience in the fintech or blockchain industry.
• Experience launching a research franchise or flagship industry report
• An existing network among institutional digital-asset teams
• You can hold your own in a room with both a crypto-native founder and a chief investment officer
