Palm Tree Supervisor – Agriculture

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Palm Tree Supervisor to oversee daily date palm farming operations, tree health, irrigation, maintenance, and harvesting activities. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in date palm cultivation and farm management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily date palm farm operations and activities.
  • Monitor palm tree health, growth, and overall plantation condition.
  • Manage irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pollination, and harvesting activities.
  • Supervise pest and disease control programs.
  • Monitor soil conditions and coordinate irrigation and fertigation requirements.
  • Supervise farm workers and assign daily tasks.
  • Ensure proper pruning, cleaning, thinning, and maintenance of palm trees.
  • Monitor fruit development and quality throughout the season.
  • Maintain records of farm activities, production, fertilizers, irrigation, and treatments.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of agricultural tools and equipment.
  • Follow agricultural, safety, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with farm management to achieve production and quality targets.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field.
  • 3–7 years of experience in date palm farming or agricultural operations.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of date palm cultivation and plantation management.
  • Experience in irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pollination, pest and disease control.
  • Experience supervising farm workers and daily agricultural activities.
  • Good knowledge of date palm varieties, seasonal activities, and harvesting.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Saudi/GCC agricultural experience is preferred.
  • English required; Arabic is an advantage.
