While our global HQ is based in Sydney, Australia, our Manila campus has grown into a vibrant hub of creativity, connection and community.

This role is based in Manila, and we’re looking for someone who calls it home. Our hybrid way of working gives you flexibility - you’ll have the option to work from home as well as connecting and collaborating with your team in-person, on campus. We trust teams to choose the balance that empowers them to achieve their goals.

What you’ll be working on

As Canva continues to scale across Southeast Asia, the Philippines is one of our most exciting and highest-potential markets. As Marketing Lead, you'll own the end-to-end marketing strategy for the Philippines — shaping how Canva shows up culturally, building brand love, and driving growth across a market that's uniquely vibrant, social-first, and community-driven.

You'll lead a talented team of around nine across brand, social, influencer, events, and community, and work hand-in-hand with the Growth Marketing Lead to ensure brand and performance are pulling in the same direction.

Your focus areas

• Owning the Philippine marketing strategy end-to-end, with clear accountability for brand awareness, adoption, and affinity
• Leading big, fame-driving brand campaigns — from strategic brief through to 360 execution across TV, digital, OOH, and social
• Overseeing creative production and media buying, ensuring work lands with cultural impact and commercial efficiency
• Building and managing strategic partnerships that extend Canva's reach and relevance in the Philippines
• Leading a high-performing social team, including always-on content and influencer marketing — ensuring Canva has a distinctive, locally resonant voice across platforms
• Driving community impact through events, trainings, and initiatives that build genuine brand love on the ground
• Collaborating closely with the Growth Marketing Lead on CRM and performance marketing, ensuring integrated thinking across the full funnel
• Leading, coaching, and growing a team, creating a culture of ambition, creativity, and accountability

You'll thrive in this role if

• You are a resilient, tenacious marketing leader who thrives in fast-moving environments and knows how to build brands that people genuinely love.
• You have extensive marketing experience, with a strong track record of leading brand-building and growth initiatives in the Philippines or comparable high-growth markets
• You have experience owning big, integrated brand campaigns from strategy through execution — you understand what it takes to create fame, not just awareness
• You have a background in or deep familiarity with high-growth companies — you're comfortable with pace, ambiguity, and building as you go
• You are a proven people leader who can coach, develop, and inspire a multi-disciplinary team
• You have a strong grasp of the Philippines' digital and cultural landscape — you know which platforms matter, which voices carry weight, and what makes Filipinos stop scrolling
• You have experience across paid media, partnerships, influencer, and community, with the ability to connect dots across channels
• You are collaborative by nature — you work well across functions and can build strong relationships with Growth, Product, and regional teams
• You are based in Manila, with fluency in English; Taglish and other Philippine languages or dialects are a genuine advantage
• You are flexible, positive, and energised by a challenge — you bring the kind of personality that lifts a team even on the hard days

You'll be joining Canva's Philippine marketing team — a close-knit group covering brand, social, influencer, events and community. It's a team that's grown organically, built by people who care deeply about the market and the work, and it's ready for someone to bring it together under one clear direction while keeping the energy and creativity that got it here.

You'll report directly to our Philippine Country Manager, working side by side to shape what Canva's brand looks and feels like in one of our most important Southeast Asian markets. This is a genuinely high-visibility seat at the table — the kind of role where your fingerprints will be on how millions of Filipinos come to know and love Canva.
