Forward Deployed Engineer

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a hands-on technical role at a Series B manufacturing SaaS company, sitting at the intersection of software engineering, enterprise customer ownership, and real-world factory operations. You will deploy, configure, and integrate a shop floor operating system directly at customer manufacturing sites across France and Europe, making a visible impact on how frontline teams work every shift.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Deploy and configure the platform at customer manufacturing sites across France and Europe.

- Write integration code to connect the platform with existing industrial systems such as MES, ERP, and SCADA.

- Train frontline teams including operators, supervisors, and plant managers.

- Own the full technical relationship with enterprise customers from onboarding through go-live and long-term success.

- Serve as the technical voice of the customer back to the product team.

- Identify and surface opportunities to expand the platform's footprint within accounts.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- 5 or more years of experience in software engineering or technical customer-facing roles.

- Strong full-stack engineering skills with the ability to ship code autonomously.

- Fluency in French (required) and English.

- Comfort working on-site at customer factory locations.

- Proven experience owning enterprise technical relationships end-to-end.

- Background in manufacturing, industrial tech, or systems integration (MES, ERP, SCADA) is a plus.

- Prior experience in forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, or implementation consulting is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The salary range for this role is $120,000 to $160,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.

LOCATION

This is a hybrid role based in Paris, Île-de-France, France. Regular travel to customer manufacturing sites across France and Europe is expected.
