Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2027

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2027. In this role, you will gain valuable knowledge into the operation of an engineering and architectural firm while performing engineering tasks as well as other office support.

What You'll Do:

• Basic engineering design work that may include working with a project engineer on calculations, preparation of plans, and preparation of reports
• Field inspection that may include gathering of field data, assisting a construction engineer, construction related office support
• Office operational support
• Assisting engineers with drafting using AutoCAD

What You'll Need:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and co-workers
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent) is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, preferred
• Organized and professional
• Valid driver’s license
