Package Specialist

Package Specialist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted):

• Manage full lifecycle implementations of Oracle Transportation and Global Trade Management (OTM/GTM) software solutions.
• Implement inbound and outbound processes with in-depth experience in OTM configuration for all processes: Order Management, Shipment Planning, Shipment Execution, and Freight Settlement.
• Monitor quotas and forecast to identify changes and predict effects on supply chain activities.
• Participate in gathering business and functional requirements through customer workshops.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and document alternative solution approaches for system design.
• Prepare solution design documents detailing configurations, global design, and standard operating procedures to meet customer requirements.
• Assist project managers in developing project plans, including scope, resources, budget, and timelines.
• Configure the OTM/GTM system in alignment with approved solution designs.
• Collaborate with technical teams to create integration mapping documents.
• Participate in scenario definition activities and proof-of-concept configurations.
• Develop and manage testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Assist in defining supply chain scenarios, proof-of-concept configuration, and testing assignments.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients when troubleshooting OTM/GTM issues during implementation.
• Develop and deliver end-user training tailored to the implemented solutions.
• Utilize: Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, SQL, Project Management, Lean Six sigma methodology, AS-IS/TO-BE process mapping, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) operational metrics.

Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration or related and two (2) years of experience as a Package Consultant, Supply Chain Consultant or related. Two (2) years of experience must include utilizing Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM), Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, SQL, Project Management, Lean Six sigma methodology, AS-IS/TO-BE process mapping, Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) operational metrics. $131498 to $152000 per year.
