Anaconda is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Legal to join the team at the heart of its commercial engine. This role is pivotal in supporting Anaconda’s mission to deliver trusted, enterprise-ready AI solutions to over 50 million users and 95% of the Fortune 500. As Senior Counsel, you will partner directly with enterprise, commercial, and mid-market sales teams to negotiate complex, high-value agreements and develop the playbooks and processes that accelerate future deals.

This position is designed for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is eager to shape the systems that drive commercial success. You will handle a diverse range of legal issues, including open-source and proprietary licensing, data governance, and regulatory compliance, while leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and scale impact across the team. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and collaborating cross-functionally to support Anaconda’s continued growth and innovation.

The ideal candidate brings at least 8 years of relevant legal experience, with a strong background in drafting and negotiating commercial agreements and intellectual property licenses. A proven ability to translate complex legal issues into practical guidance, build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, and implement scalable legal processes is essential. Experience with AI-driven legal workflows and a proactive, collaborative approach will set you apart.
