Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Design precision components, modules, and subsystems, with a focus on mechanical design.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive product requirements definition and specification.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate technical solutions.
  • Support project cost estimation and scheduling activities.
  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs, including detailed drawings using 3D CAD tools (Creo/ProE).
  • Perform tolerance stack-up analyses and apply GD&T methodologies.
  • Conduct and support engineering analyses, including thermal, vibration, fluid, and FEA simulations (advantage).
  • Lead and participate in design reviews throughout the development process.
  • Procure prototype parts and support vendor interactions.
  • Assemble, integrate, and test prototypes and subsystems.
  • Support system integration, verification, and validation activities.
  • Develop assembly and test procedures.
  • Release engineering documentation and transfer designs to manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in mechanical design.
  • Experience with various manufacturing and fabrication methods, motion system design, and DFX principles.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary systems.
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
