Global Process Owner – Knowledge Management & Controls

Our P&C Process Solutions and Enablement Team is responsible for the global strategy of end-to-end process design, standardization, compliance, optimization, and alignment to the strategic goals of the organization. Partnering with the P&C Technology team to embrace cutting-edge tech solutions, driving innovative P&C practices, ensuring the seamless integration of technology to elevate efficiency, employee experience, and overall organizational success.

Partner with the best

The Global Process Owner (GPO) for Knowledge Management & Controls will be responsible for leveraging deep P&C expertise to represent, consult, and refine core P&C operations in support of P&C strategies that impact the enterprise. This role plays an essential part in defining, monitoring, and transforming end-to-end Knowledge Management for Baker Hughes while ensuring controls/risks are not compromised.

Key Responsibilities

As a Global Process Owner for Knowledge Management & Controls, you will:

  • Develop and Communicate Strategic Vision: Create and articulate a strategic vision for Knowledge Management & Controls, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Drive Process Standardization and Improvement: Develop and improve standardized processes and procedures that can be consistently implemented enterprise wide, across different regions and segments.
  • Lead Global Projects: Lead Knowledge Management projects to execute the strategy for end-to-end processes, including associated policies and technologies.
  • Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor Knowledge Management & Controls process trends, emerging technologies, and leading practices occurring in the marketplace to inform strategic direction and process enhancements to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
  • Provide Strategic Insights: Analyze P&C data and trends to offer strategic insights and recommendations to leaders and stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Establish Metrics and KPIs: Set clear metrics and KPIs to monitor the performance of processes and measure their success and impact on key business outcomes, such as employee engagement, retention, productivity, and organizational performance.
  • Champion Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to implement new processes or improve existing ones, ensuring stakeholder buy-in and minimizing resistance.
  • Ensure Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards across all jurisdictions where the organization operates.
  • Leverage Technology: Drive the adoption of P&C technology solutions to automate and streamline processes, enhance data accuracy, and provide analytics for informed decision-making.
  • Support Global P&C Teams: Enable global P&C teams through training, guidance, and support on new global processes and systems.
  • Foster Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the P&C function.
  • Evaluate Solutions: Partner with P&C Technology, vendors, and service providers to assess solutions and ensure effective implementation and support of P&C systems and processes.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with cross-functional teams on initiatives that intersect with Knowledge Management processes to ensure P&C considerations are integrated into overall business planning.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Advanced English Level.
  • Demonstrate experience applying data-driven process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar approaches.
  • Bring strong experience in People & Culture, Knowledge Management, Project Management, and system implementation, with deep subject matter expertise in P&C end-to-end process management and associated systems.
  • Have proven experience contributing to global projects across regions, functions, and stakeholder groups.
  • Possess experience supporting Change Management initiatives within a large-scale multinational organization.
