Reporting to the Director, the Advisor plays a critical role in delivering an integrated advising experience that blends academic planning, career development, and personal individualized student support. The Advisor manages a caseload of students and provides proactive, student-centered guidance to promote persistence, completion, and post-graduation success. The Advisor also supports the HRA Fellowship Program- a paid opportunity for CUNY EDGE students. The program promotes a culture of student engagement and skill development via workshops, weekly timesheets, and ongoing participation requirements. This role requires a holistic approach that connects students’ academic experiences with career pathways, while also supporting their navigation of institutional and public benefit requirements. The Advisor fosters a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel empowered to achieve their goals.
