What You’ll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild heavy-duty truck components and systems, including diesel engines, transmissions, drive axles, differentials, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical, and related systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, failure analysis, component removal, repairs, basic welding, and other work needed to keep equipment safe and operating to specification.
• Put safety first on every job by following proper repair procedures, maintaining a safe work environment, and complying with Company, DOT, OSHA, and other applicable requirements.
• Take ownership of the complete job by maintaining accurate service records, managing necessary parts and supplies, caring for Company equipment and vehicles, and completing required technical training and certifications.

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED and 3+ years of relevant heavy-duty truck, diesel, or related equipment repair experience; trade school and technician certifications are preferred.
• Strong diesel mechanical aptitude, diagnostic ability, and hands-on experience with major truck components and systems, along with the ability to use precision measuring instruments.
• Welding or fabrication experience is preferred, along with strong communication skills, sound judgment, and a customer-first mindset.
• A valid driver’s license, your own tools, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day, plus flexibility to travel to customer sites and participate in an on-call schedule as needed.
