Job Description:

As a Senior Project Manager at Hitachi, Ltd., you will lead and manage complex, large-scale projects from initiation to closure, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. You will be responsible for overseeing all project phases, coordinating cross-functional teams, and communicating effectively with stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives.

Responsibilities:**

* Lead and manage the full project lifecycle for multiple concurrent projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing. * Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. * Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed tasks, timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates. * Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as needed. * Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial objectives are met. * Form, motivate, and manage high-performing project teams, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback. * Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external vendors. * Prepare and present regular project status reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior leadership and clients. * Ensure projects adhere to Hitachi's quality standards, methodologies, and best practices. * Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within project management. * Manage stakeholder expectations and foster strong client relationships. * Oversee the procurement and management of third-party vendors and contractors when necessary. * Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. * PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification (e.g., PRINCE2) is required. * Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 3 years in a senior project management role, preferably within a large, multinational technology or engineering company. * Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale projects on time and within budget. * Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid). * Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels. * Expertise in risk management, change management, and stakeholder management. * Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana) and collaboration tools. * Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. * Experience with global teams and cross-cultural communication is highly desirable. * Fluency in English is required.
