Position Summary:

Student Health Services at University of Wisconsin Platteville is seeking an Administrative Assistant. The Administrative Assistant will manage front desk intakes and a multiline telephone.

This position is 40-hours per week; 7:45am - 4:15pm, Monday through Friday.

The Administrative Assistant position is a temporary position; through the end of the fall semester, December of 2026. Compensation is $17.00 an hour. This position is not eligible for paid time off or leave benefits.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Sends, receives, copies, and distributes communications to the appropriate entities according to established policies and procedures

• Tracks, stocks, orders, and inventories office supplies to ensure adequate materials are available for workplace operation

• Serves as first point of contact for individuals and groups providing basic organizational information via phone, in person, and through other communication mediums, routing more complex inquiries to the appropriate entities

• Schedules logistics and secures resources for meetings, conferences, travel, and work unit operations

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• Familiar with Microsoft Outlook
