Title: CPT-11638 Amazon FBA Product Sourcing Specialist

Independent Contractor – CPT-11638 Amazon FBA Product Sourcing Specialist/e-Commerce VA/Junior-Advanced Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

A growing Amazon FBA business is seeking an experienced E-commerce VA to take ownership of profitable product sourcing, brand and supplier research, and identifying viable opportunities for business growth.

The business is in its early stages, and the owner also operates another full-time company. The priority is finding someone who already understands Amazon sourcing, marketplace restrictions, and product profitability and can independently identify realistic opportunities without extensive instruction.

The position will initially focus on product sourcing, with secondary support for Seller Central, account health, and FBA operations as needed.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Amazon Product Sourcing & Analysis

  • Research profitable products for resale through Amazon FBA
  • Analyze demand, sales velocity, competition, pricing, fees, ROI, and estimated profit margins
  • Evaluate opportunities using Keepa, SellerAmp, and Amazon marketplace information
  • Identify products the client is eligible to sell or could realistically obtain approval for
  • Prioritize commercially viable products over restricted or highly competitive opportunities
  • Present qualified sourcing recommendations with supporting calculations and research
  • Review existing product opportunities and help identify why current products may not be generating sufficient profit.
  • Prioritize sourcing activities that support the client’s store growth and profitability goals

Brand & Supplier Research

  • Identify legitimate brands, wholesalers, distributors, and manufacturers
  • Research supplier eligibility requirements, pricing, and wholesale-account opportunities
  • Conduct initial email outreach to suppliers as directed
  • Gather information and documentation for potential wholesale applications
  • Maintain organized supplier and product opportunity records
  • Flag unrealistic or unsuitable sourcing opportunities before significant time is invested
  • Help assess products the client has already purchased but may be unable to sell on Amazon because of restrictions or listing limitations.
  • Research potential solutions for products that do not yet have an Amazon product listing or ASIN, where applicable.

Amazon Seller Central & Operational Support

  • Monitor relevant Seller Central alerts, restrictions, and account-health concerns
  • Assist with Amazon support cases, documentation, and product approval requirements
  • Coordinate routine FBA shipment preparation, labels, and prep-center follow-up as needed
  • Track outstanding inventory or shipment issues and escalate problems promptly
  • Provide regular progress updates on sourcing activity and operational priorities
  • Assist with creating product listings and generating ASINs for eligible products when no existing listing is available.
  • Review existing store performance and identify potential issues affecting profitability, escalating recommended actions to the client for approval.

Marketplace Support

  • Assist with researching and pursuing Walmart marketplace access following the client’s unsuccessful application.
  • Help determine applicable documentation, category restrictions, and listing requirements for products the client may want to sell on Walmart.
  • Support Walmart product listing setup where the client’s products and account are eligible.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • Hands-on Amazon FBA product sourcing experience required
  • Keepa and/or SellerAmp proficiency required
  • Amazon Seller Central experience required
  • Wholesale, distributor, or brand research experience strongly preferred

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
