The posting

Wil jij werken aan de technische fundering van een platform dat miljoenen transacties per maand verwerkt, en dat klaar moet zijn voor de volgende schaalstap?

Bij 4CEE bouwen we aan de core van ons Exchange platform. Geen losse features, maar het hart van een systeem dat continu draait, groeit en slimmer moet worden.

Wat ga je doen?

Je werkt aan het transactienetwerk van 4CEE: een platform waar dagelijks grote volumes berichten doorheen gaan. Concreet:

  • Je bouwt en verbetert backend services die documentstromen verwerken (facturen, orders, berichten)
  • Je denkt mee over en werkt aan de architectuur (modulair, schaalbaar, onderhoudbaar)
  • Je ontwikkelt binnen een API-first platform met hoge performance-eisen
  • Je werkt aan cloud-native oplossingen (AWS, serverless + containers)
  • Je optimaliseert bestaande componenten voor performance en schaal
  • Je draagt bij aan CI/CD, codekwaliteit en testbaarheid

De uitdaging

We zitten midden in een fase waarin we ons platform herstructureren naar een schaalbare, modulaire architectuur.

Dat betekent:

  • Bestaande systemen analyseren en verbeteren
  • Nieuwe services ontwerpen
  • Keuzes maken die de komende jaren impact hebben

Je komt niet binnen op een ‘af’ systeem, maar juist midden in de evolutie.

Over 4CEE

4CEE ontwikkelt software die financiële processen van organisaties automatiseert en versnelt. Ons platform vormt de backbone van e-facturatie, e-procurement en digitale documentuitwisseling.

Het team

Je start in een kernteam dat verantwoordelijk is voor het Exchange platform.

  • Het team wordt uitgebreid met meerdere engineers de komende periode.
  • Je bouwt niet alleen mee aan het platform, maar hebt ook invloed op hoe we bouwen en schalen als team met mogelijkheden tot het doorgroeien richting meer verantwoordelijkheid of een leidende rol.
  • Je werkt intensief samen met collega's uit andere teams, zoals het Cloud team en AI specialisten, om het platform stabiel schaalbaar en toekomstbestendig te maken.

4CEE Exchange

Met het 4CEE Exchange platform stellen we organisaties in staat om documenten zoals facturen, inkooporders en statusberichten volledig geautomatiseerd te verzenden en ontvangen. Inmiddels verwerken we miljoenen facturen per maand en we blijven groeien, zowel in volume als in gebruik.

Om die groei te ondersteunen, werken we aan het verder schaalbaar maken en herstructureren van de technische basis van ons platform, zodat we sneller kunnen bouwen, eenvoudiger kunnen uitbreiden en beter kunnen inspelen op nieuwe ontwikkelingen.

Wat breng je mee?

  • ±3+ jaar ervaring met Back-end
  • Ervaring met één of meerdere talen zoals Python, Java, Node.js, PHP of vergelijkbaar
  • Ervaring met cloud (bij voorkeur AWS, zoals Lambda, S3 en API Gateway) en CI/CD tooling.
  • Aandacht voor codekwaliteit en testbaarheid (o.a. unit testing, code reviews) en het bouwen van schaalbare, betrouwbare systemen
  • Ervaring met of interesse in transactionele of financiële processen is een pré, evenals kennis van (of affiniteit met) e-facturatiestandaarden zoals Peppol en andere internationale standaarden.
