Job Summary

The Pre-sales Consultant coordinates technical pre-sales activities. He will transfer industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via good written, verbal and presentation skills. Assists in all levels of technical account planning and accompanies sales account managers on visits to customers. Assists in the development of formal sales proposal and presents and differentiates product offerings at a technical level from the competition.

Responsibilities

- Product presentations and demonstrations

- Support with technical qualification of sales opportunities

- Provide answers to (technical) questions in a Request for Information(RFI) or a Request for Proposal(RFP)

- Conduct diagnostic study to document the technical scope of work for driving technical proposal.

- Build custom demonstrations

- Deliver Proof Of Concepts(POC)

- Prepare Job Order Costing (JOC) for the prospects to help Sales team to drive Financial proposal

- Assists with the qualification of the opportunities and/or identification of target accounts

- Manages hand-over to the Services Functions (Post-Sales Support and Professional Services) for live project implementation

Skills and Experience

- 5–6 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, ERP Consulting, or Solution Engineering

- Educated to at least Graduation level (BBA, BCS, ERP)

- Excellent presentation, public speaking and demonstration skills

- Good Knowledge of Databases (SQL, HANA-Preferred)

- Exposure of SAP/Oracle ERP (SAP Business One/NetSuite) Portfolio is preferred

- Implementation experience of ERP will be an added advantage

- Bonus: Knowledge of AI tools, Business Analytics usage

- Proven ability to multi task and prioritize under pressure

- Self-starter

- Good listening skills

- Fluency in English essential.

- Willingness to travel
