The posting

Abbey Court School provides a stimulating, challenging and safe learning environment where pupils and staff

efforts, work and achievement are celebrated.

We have an exciting opportunity for:-

A full-time Teacher for pupils

with severe and profound learning difficulties.

January 2027 start or to be negotiated at interview.

MPS/UPS + SEN (1-2 points, depending on experience)

Abbey Court caters for pupils aged 3-19 with Severe Learning Difficulties, and is currently located on 2 Strood sites: Nursery, Primary and Secondary (Cliffe Road) and Further Education (Rede Court Road). Facilities include an on-site school farm.

Telephone enquiries and informal visits to the school are welcome.

Due to the conditions and complex needs of the pupils at Abbey Court School, continuity and consistency of support are paramount and therefore candidates for all positions will need to commit to the full working hours of the post.
