About us
Saint Augustine Webster Catholic Voluntary Academy is a primary school located in Scunthorpe. We are a warm, inclusive community rooted in strong faith values, with respect at the heart of everything we do. We believe that positive and respectful relationships provide the foundation for every child to thrive, both academically and personally.
Our pupils benefit from a nurturing and supportive environment where they are encouraged to embrace challenges, take risks and develop a love of learning. We place great importance on helping children become confident, resilient and independent learners by providing opportunities to collaborate, think critically, solve problems and persevere. Along the way, we ensure that learning remains engaging, rewarding and fun.
We have high aspirations for all our pupils and encourage them to believe in their abilities and aim for success. We are immensely proud of the way our children grow during their time with us and of the many former pupils who continue to demonstrate confidence, resilience and a passion for learning long after they leave our school.
We are part of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust, bringing together the 35 Catholic Primary and Secondary schools in Lincolnshire, Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire..
