This position works out in Mexico City office in Tlalpan, Coyoacan. With Abbott Nutrition International.

MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

As Commercial Trade Director you will be responsible for drive sustainable and profitable growth of Abbott Nutrition brands across all commercial channels through the development and execution of an integrated Trade Strategy covering Key Accounts, Traditional Trade, eCommerce, Revenue Growth Management, Category Development and Trade Marketing.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the development and execution of commercial and channel growth strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with key retailers, distributors, wholesalers, and digital platforms.
  • Drive sales, market share, profitability, and commercial investment performance.
  • Lead Revenue Growth Management initiatives, including pricing, promotions, assortment optimization, product mix, and trade terms.
  • Develop and implement Trade Marketing strategies to maximize in-store execution, visibility, and shopper engagement.
  • Accelerate omnichannel transformation and eCommerce growth through digital capabilities, analytics, and customer insights.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Operations, and other key stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing Trade Marketing, Key Account Management, and commercial teams.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
  • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Experience

  • 12+ years of progressive commercial experience.
  • Significant experience in Key Account Management, Trade Marketing and Customer Development.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large multifunctional commercial teams.
  • Experience leading national customer negotiations and strategic partnerships.
  • Experience managing Trade P&L and commercial investment decisions.
  • Experience within FMCG, Consumer Healthcare, Nutrition or related industries preferred.

Languages

  • Spanish: Native.
  • English: Medium-High to Advanced level, both written and spoken, with ability to lead business discussions, negotiations and presentations in international environments.
