The Opportunity

As a Business Development Manager, you’re the corner piece to unlocking revenue growth and expanding Abstract’s market presence. You’ll monitor key accounts, identify and maximize business opportunities, and spearhead initiatives that reinforce our position in delivering cutting-edge solutions across diverse industries. Supported by our portfolio of companies and flat hierarchy, you’re empowered to add value to a product offering you’re passionate about.

As part of the commercial team, you’ll collaborate closely with our engineering support and marketing teams to refine product positioning and enhance market understanding. Additionally, you’ll represent Abstract at industry conferences to promote our solutions and expand our network. Developing strategic partnerships will be essential for long-term growth and adding significant value to our business.

What You Can Bring

  • Working knowledge of 3D optimization, graphics pipelines, or game/VFX production, and a grasp of how Abstract's products fit into those pipelines and workflows
  • A track record of sourcing and closing deals in 3D, gaming, or enterprise software, with strong connections in those domains
  • Demonstrated ability to run a full sales cycle, from first outreach to signed deal, with studios, publishers, or enterprise stakeholders
  • Strong communicator who can hold a room with technical buyers and executives, and adapts fast as the deal calls for it
  • Fluent in both English and German

About Us

Abstract is a deep-tech company building the platform to fix the 3D pipeline, every layer engineered from the ground up to work together.

InstaLOD optimizes 3D and converts CAD. InstaMAT handles material authoring and texturing. RSX Engine is the real-time engine for collaboration. Polyverse manages and delivers assets to the cloud.

Game developers, VFX studios, automotive and aerospace teams, and many others all use Abstract's suite to move from raw data to finished, production-ready assets faster and at lower cost.
