The purpose of this role is to provide support to the Northland Corridor Warkworth to Te Hana - Ara Tūhono Project in Auckland.

Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Administrator to support our Health and Safety team. This role plays a key part in ensuring our safety systems, records, and documents are maintained to a high standard, helping us foster a safe and compliant working environment across our project.

Working closely with operational teams, subcontractors, and management, you will provide administrative support across a range of health and safety activities, including training coordination, reporting, incident management, and document control.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation.
  • Experience with document control, data entry, and administrative processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and exercise discretion.
  • Competent in reporting, record management, and database administration.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of health and safety systems, processes, and compliance requirements.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong coordination skills for managing inductions, training records, and compliance activities.
