Job Description

  • Coordinate the daily administrative and operational activities of the Housekeeping Department.
  • Prepare duty rosters, attendance records, reports, and departmental schedules.
  • Monitor and coordinate room status updates with Front Office and other relevant departments.
  • Handle departmental requisitions, inventory records, and office supplies.
  • Assist in coordinating staff requests, training schedules, and internal communications.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and timely follow-up on departmental matters.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Housekeeper to ensure smooth departmental operations.
  • Assist in the housekeeping operations where necessary

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a Housekeeping administrative or coordination role, preferably in a hotel or resort.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and email correspondence.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good administrative and record-keeping abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems (PMS) is an advantage.
