This role requires fluency in Dutch—speaking, reading, and writing—because of the daily communication with employees, handling Dutch labor laws, and interacting with local institutions. Unfortunately, we cannot consider candidates who do not meet this language requirement, as Dutch proficiency is essential for success in this position.

Functieomschrijving:

Als Mechanical Engineer bij de afdeling Combustion ben je verantwoordelijk voor het voorbereiden, uitvoeren en opleveren van alle Mechanical-, Piping- en Structural-Engineering werkzaamheden. Je werkt aan diverse projecten, variërend van brander installaties tot skid-bouw projecten. Hierbij zorg je voor een naadloze integratie van alle technische aspecten en werk je nauw samen met verschillende disciplines binnen het bedrijf. Daarnaast ben je actief om de teken- en bereken infrastructuur (PDM) continue te verbeteren.

Taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

Engineering:

  • Actueel blijven met de laatste (klant) specificaties, wet- en regelgeving, en geldende normen.
  • Opstellen van P&ID’s.
  • Ontwerpen van piping systemen.
  • Maken van mechanische ontwerpen in 3D, inclusief basic structural en/of FEM berekeningen.
  • Opleveren en beheren van documentatie zoals constructie- en samenstellingstekeningen, manuals, etc.
  • Samenwerken met disciplines zoals Electrical-, System-, Performance- en Project Engineering binnen projecten.
  • Bewaken van de progressie, tijdsplanning voor jouw activiteiten binnen een project en proactief afwijkingen communiceren.

Ondersteuning:

  • Assisteren van Sales bij het opstellen van concept designs en P&ID’s.
  • Ondersteunen van aftermarket-, garantie- en serviceactiviteiten.
  • Snel en accuraat beantwoorden van interne- en externe (klant)vragen.

Functie-eisen:

  • Een HBO opleiding in Werktuigbouw, Civiele Techniek of equivalent.
  • Minstens 7 jaar relevante werkervaring, bij voorkeur in de procesindustrie of petrochemische industrie.
  • Ervaring met het maken van structurele- en/of FEM berekeningen.
  • Ervaring met piping design en bijbehorende flow- en sterkteberekeningen.
  • Kennis van normeringen zoals PED, CE, NEN-EN, ASME en DIN.
  • Ervaring met Autodesk Inventor en Vault, of equivalent PDM systeem;
  • Ervaring met het parametriseren van modellen;
  • Beheersing van de Engelse taal in woord en geschrift; beheersing van de Nederlandse taal is een pré.
