About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable engineer to help develop next-generation software and automation solutions for the semiconductor industry. This role focuses on applying modern AI technologies, software engineering, and workflow automation to solve complex engineering challenges and improve productivity across design, test, and manufacturing environments.

The engineer will work closely with software developers, applications engineers, customers, and domain experts to identify high-value opportunities for automation and develop scalable solutions that improve engineering efficiency, accelerate problem solving, and deliver measurable customer value.

Successful candidates are strong problem solvers who enjoy building practical solutions, learning new technologies, and applying modern AI tools to real-world engineering challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop AI-powered tools and automation workflows that improve engineering productivity.
  • Use LLMs, AI coding assistants, and modern software development tools to prototype and deploy new capabilities.
  • Build applications, dashboards, and internal tools that help engineers analyze data, automate workflows, and solve complex technical problems.
  • Collaborate with software, applications, and semiconductor engineering teams to identify opportunities for intelligent automation.
  • Evaluate emerging AI technologies and integrate them into real-world engineering workflows.
  • Support customer-facing engineering projects and help solve challenging technical problems for leading semiconductor companies.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent early-career industry experience.
  • Strong programming and software development skills using Python, Java, C++, or similar languages, including scripting, data manipulation, and API integration.
  • Demonstrated interest in or hands-on experience with AI/ML tools, LLMs, prompt engineering, workflow automation, or AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot).
  • Strong analytical thinking and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated interest in automation, semiconductors, or engineering productivity tools.
  • A builder's mindset with a passion for learning, problem solving, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

  • Experience applying AI/ML technologies to engineering workflows, automation, analytics, or productivity applications.
  • Exposure to semiconductor design, validation, test, DFT, or related engineering workflows.
  • Familiarity with EDA tools or semiconductor development environments.
  • Basic knowledge of test pattern formats such as STIL and WGL.
  • Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
