The posting

Objetivo del cargo

Gestionar y optimizar los procesos de importación de materias primas e insumos, y apoyar el desarrollo de oportunidades de exportación, asegurando el cumplimiento normativo aduanero, la eficiencia logística internacional y el control de costos asociados a comercio exterior.

Funciones principales

  • Gestionar el proceso completo de importación de materia prima e insumos: cotización internacional, negociación con proveedores, términos Incoterms, documentación y nacionalización.
  • Coordinar con agentes de aduana, navieras/forwarders y transportistas para asegurar tiempos de entrega y minimizar costos logísticos.
  • Dar seguimiento al estado de embarques y anticipar posibles retrasos que afecten el abastecimiento de planta.
  • Elaborar análisis de costos de importación (landed cost) para apoyar decisiones de compra y de pricing.
  • Explorar y desarrollar oportunidades de exportación de productos Polipack a mercados de la región.
  • Asegurar el cumplimiento de la normativa aduanera y de comercio exterior vigente en Ecuador (SENAE y organismos relacionados).
  • Mantener actualizada la documentación de comercio exterior (certificados de origen, licencias, permisos) y su trazabilidad en los sistemas internos.
  • Coordinar con Producción y Comercial la planificación de abastecimiento de materia prima según demanda proyectada.
  • Monitorear tipo de cambio, aranceles y condiciones de mercado internacional que puedan impactar costos.

Formación académica

  • Graduado(a) en Comercio Exterior, Negocios Internacionales, Ingeniería Comercial o carreras afines.
  • Deseable especialización o diplomado en logística internacional o aduanas.

Experiencia

  • 3 a 5 años de experiencia en comercio exterior, preferiblemente en empresas industriales o manufactureras que importen materia prima.
  • Experiencia comprobada en gestión de importaciones, Incoterms, nacionalización de mercadería y relación con agentes de aduana.
  • Deseable experiencia en procesos de exportación
  • Manejo de indicadores de desempeño.

Competencias

  • Nivel de inglés intermedio–avanzado (negociación con proveedores internacionales).
  • Capacidad de negociación y gestión de proveedores.
  • Atención al detalle y manejo de normativa/documentación regulatoria.
  • Pensamiento analítico para evaluación de costos y escenarios logísticos.
  • Autonomía y capacidad de coordinación con múltiples áreas (planta, comercial, finanzas).

Conocimientos técnicos / sistemas

  • Conocimiento de Incoterms, régimen aduanero ecuatoriano y proceso de nacionalización.
  • Manejo de Excel avanzado para análisis de costos de importación.
  • Deseable conocimiento de sistemas ERP/contables (SCAE u otro) y de plataformas de la SENAE (ECUAPASS).

Horario de oficina, con disponibilidad ocasional para coordinación con proveedores en distintos usos horarios.
