Job Description
As a CNC/Industrial Maintenance Mechanic here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machinery and industrial equipment to ensure optimal production efficiency and equipment reliability.
You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the smooth operation and uptime of critical manufacturing equipment, directly contributing to Honeywell Aerospace’s commitment to quality and operational excellence.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines and industrial equipment to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support equipment upgrades and modifications.
Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in maintenance and repair of CNC machinery and industrial equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems relevant to industrial machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment used in CNC and industrial maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements in industrial maintenance work.
- Experience operating a vertical mill & lathe
WE VALUE
- Technical diploma or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a CNC or industrial maintenance mechanic.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
