Job Description
As a Plumber - 3rd Shift (Union) here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our facilities during the third shift.
You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location on an on-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the operational reliability and safety of facility plumbing systems, supporting Honeywell Aerospace’s commitment to maintaining a high standard of workplace infrastructure and production continuity.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and water supply lines during the third shift to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and perform timely repairs to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to support facility upgrades and modifications related to plumbing systems.
Responsibilities
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, valves, and water supply management.
- Ability to read and interpret plumbing blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for effective troubleshooting and repair.
- Proficiency with plumbing tools and equipment, as well as adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with industrial safety regulations and best practices related to plumbing work.
- 3+ years of experience as a plumber in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- MN Journeymen License or higher
WE VALUE
- Technical diploma or certification in Plumbing, Industrial Maintenance, or related field.
- Knowledge of industrial piping systems, including HVAC and process piping.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on a third-shift schedule.
