Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.40pm Sat - 8.30am - 12.40pm

Job Summary

The R&D Executive is responsible for developing new food products, improving existing formulations, conducting product trials, and supporting product commercialization activities. The role focuses on soy sauce, seasoning sauces, and related food products while ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • * Develop new soy sauce, sauces, condiments, and seasoning products according to market trends and customer requirements.
  • * Improve existing formulations to enhance taste, quality, shelf life, and production efficiency.
  • * Conduct laboratory trials, pilot trials, and factory production trials.
  • * Prepare product formulations, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • * Evaluate raw materials and identify alternative ingredients to optimize product quality and cost.
  • * Conduct sensory evaluation and product benchmarking against competitors.
  • * Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Sales teams during product development and commercialization.
  • * Support customer requests for customized products and private label projects.
  • * Ensure compliance with local and international food regulations, including product labeling requirements.
  • * Coordinate product shelf-life studies and stability testing.
  • * Prepare and maintain records including formulations, trial reports, and product specifications.
  • * Assist in handling customer complaints related to product quality and provide technical investigation support.
  • * Monitor food industry trends, ingredients, and technological developments relevant to soy sauce and seasoning products.
  • * Support certification requirements such as GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, and Halal where applicable.
