Role: Store Manager – Yankee Candle – FIXED TERM CONTRACT

Salary: £43,000 pro rata + BONUS

Contract: Full-time

Location: Salisbury

As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll help bring this heritage to life, inspiring customers and building a team that shares our passion for fragrance.

What you'll do:

As Store Manager, you'll lead, inspire and develop your team to deliver an exceptional customer experience and drive outstanding store performance. You'll bring the Yankee Candle brand to life through engaging product storytelling, excellent customer service and a passion for creating a welcoming store environment. Combining strong commercial awareness with hands-on leadership, you'll take ownership of day-to-day operations, motivate your team to achieve sales targets and ensure the store consistently delivers the highest standards in a fast-paced, customer-focused retail environment.

Lead and inspire:

  • Support, coach and develop a confident, motivated and high-performing team.
  • Lead by example on the shop floor, especially during busy trading periods.
  • Build a positive, inclusive culture where everyone feels supported and accountable.

Create exceptional customer experiences:

  • Bring the Yankee Candle brand to life through outstanding service.
  • Help the team build genuine customer connections and memorable experiences.
  • Develop product knowledge and encourage engaging fragrance storytelling.

Drive commercial performance:

  • Use sales results and customer insights to identify opportunities.
  • Turn performance information into practical actions that improve results.
  • Take ownership of challenges and support the delivery of store objectives.

  • An experienced retail leader who knows how to motivate and develop a team.
  • Passionate about customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
  • Confident coaching others to build product knowledge and engage customers.
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to turn sales insights into action.
  • Hands-on, visible and comfortable leading from the shop floor.
  • Positive, adaptable and energised by a fast-paced retail environment.
  • A collaborative team player who takes responsibility and leads by example.
