Als Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (m/w/d) Industrial Automation & Robotic Applications treibst du die industrielle Automatisierung unserer wichtigsten Kunden durch die mechanische Konstruktion modernster Automatisierungssysteme voran. Du bist verantwortlich für die Konzipierung und Konstruktion von Automatisierungsanlagen. Um unsere Projekte reibungslos umzusetzen, arbeiten wir als Team eng vor Ort mit unseren Kunden und der BÄR Automation GmbH in der Nähe von Heilbronn zusammen.

Your Responsibilities

  • Systementwicklung: Verantwortung für das Design und die Weiterentwicklung mechanischer Systeme für industrielle Automatisierungsprojekte in enger Zusammenarbeit mit cross-funktionalen Teams.
  • Optimierung & Initiative: Analyse bestehender Konstruktionen, Einbringen von Verbesserungsvorschlägen und aktive Weiterentwicklung von Konzepten.
  • Komponentendesign: Entwicklung effizienter, zuverlässiger und robuster mechanischer Komponenten, die sich nahtlos in die Automatisierungstechnik integrieren lassen und dabei die Maschinenrichtlinie sowie relevante Normen berücksichtigen.
  • Schnittstellenarbeit: Enge Abstimmung mit SPS-Programmierern und Automatisierungsspezialisten, um mechanische Konstruktionen optimal auf Steuerungs- und Prozessanforderungen auszurichten.
  • Bauteilauswahl & Prototyping: Auswahl geeigneter Komponenten, Erstellung von Prototypen sowie Validierung und Optimierung von Konstruktionen durch Tests.
  • Technische Dokumentation: Erstellung detaillierter technischer Zeichnungen und Montageanleitungen sowie Vorbereitung der CE-Dokumentation.

Essential Skills

  • Du hast ein abgeschlossenes Studium (Bachelor oder Master) im Bereich Maschinenbau, Mechatronik oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Fachrichtung.
  • Du verfügst über mindestens 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Automatisierung, Robotik und mechanischen Konstruktion im Bereich komplexer Maschinen oder Sonderanlagen. Du hast bereits funktionale und zuverlässige Lösungen konstruiert.
  • Deine Routine im Umgang mit 3D CAD-Tools (insbesondere SolidWorks) und dein Wissen zu Sicherheitskonzepten (CE) gibt dir die Sicherheit, eigenverantwortlich zu konstruieren.
  • Reisetätigkeit ist für Sie selbstverständlich, damit du deine Kunden vor Ort optimal unterstützen und die bestmöglichen Lösungen mit unseren Partnern von der BÄR Automation GmbH entwickeln kannst.
  • Du liebst es, Ideen in greifbare Lösungen zu verwandeln – sei es durch durchdachte Konstruktionen, die Zusammenarbeit mit Automatisierungsteams oder Tests und Prototypen, um deine Konzepte zu validieren.
  • Du kannst mit Kunden und Lieferanten auf Deutsch und Englisch sicher kommunizieren und ihnen komplexe Themen klar vermitteln.
