Voor een groeiende productieomgeving zijn we op zoek naar een Business Applications Engineer die technische expertise graag combineert met inzicht in bedrijfsprocessen.

In deze veelzijdige rol vorm je een belangrijke schakel tussen IT, business en productie. Je analyseert bestaande systemen en processen, detecteert verbeterkansen en vertaalt noden naar betrouwbare en gebruiksvriendelijke digitale oplossingen.

Wat houdt jouw functie in?

  • Je analyseert, beheert en optimaliseert bestaande softwaretoepassingen, databases, interfaces en rapporteringen.
  • Je verdiept je in de verschillende bedrijfsprocessen en vertaalt functionele noden naar technische en digitale oplossingen.
  • Je identificeert mogelijkheden voor automatisering, digitalisering en procesoptimalisatie, zowel binnen de administratie als op de productievloer.
  • Je ontwikkelt nieuwe toepassingen en verbetert bestaande systemen en functionaliteiten.
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat verschillende applicaties en systemen correct met elkaar communiceren en geïntegreerd zijn.
  • Je bent betrokken bij het volledige traject: van analyse en ontwikkeling tot testing, implementatie, support en beheer.
  • Je werkt mee aan uiteenlopende IT- en digitaliseringsprojecten.
  • Je groeit uit tot specialist binnen een aantal specifieke applicaties en systemen.
  • Je ondersteunt collega's bij functionele en technische vragen en zoekt samen met hen naar duurzame oplossingen.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met andere IT-collega's en verschillende afdelingen binnen de organisatie.
  • Je deelt jouw expertise en denkt mee na over functionele en technische architectuur.
  • Je beschikt over een masterdiploma in toegepaste Informatica, IT of een gelijkaardige richting.
  • Je hebt minstens 5 jaar relevante ervaring, bij voorkeur binnen een productieomgeving.
  • Je hebt een sterke kennis van MS SQL, databases en database design.
  • Je hebt ervaring met data-analyse, visualisatie en rapporteringstools.
  • Je hebt een brede technische interesse en kennis van onder meer software development, infrastructuur, operating systems, data security en AI-toepassingen.
  • Je hebt ervaring met verschillende programmeertalen en bent bereid om je voortdurend verder te verdiepen in nieuwe technologieën.
  • Je kent de principes van software engineering, zoals code versioning en release management.
  • Ervaring met projectmanagement is een pluspunt.
  • Je bent analytisch en probleemoplossend ingesteld en weet technische vraagstukken steeds te bekijken vanuit het bredere bedrijfsproces.
  • Je houdt van een gevarieerde functie waarin development, analyse, projecten en support elkaar afwisselen.
  • Je bent hands-on, communicatief en denkt proactief mee over hoe processen en systemen beter, efficiënter en gebruiksvriendelijker kunnen.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands, Frans en Engels.
