The posting

Agri-Cover, Inc., an aftermarket automotive manufacturer is looking for a full-time Custodian in our Jamestown, ND location.

Summary

Keeps building in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.

Cleans cafeterias and bathrooms on a daily basis.

Empties trash and garbage containers and consolidates for weekly pickup.

Maintains recycling program.

Washes windows.

Paints as necessary.

Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.

Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.

Assists in the set-up and take-down of equipment/supplies for company events.

Cleans work bicycles.

Implements improvements.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in oneon- one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to handle, grasp, pinch, or feel objects and to communicate verbally and hear. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will regularly lift or move 25 pounds, frequently lift or move 50 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds. Team lifting or finding a mechanical advantage when possible is preferred for dealing with items over 50 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
