The posting

Our client are building a precision turret platform for the defense of Ukraine and are looking for a strong embedded engineer to own sensor integration and control logic - from hardware bring-up to field deployment.

What you'll do

  • Integrate key sensors - LiDAR, thermal (IR) cameras, IMU - on edge platforms (NVIDIA Jetson, ARM).
  • Implement and tune control and stabilization algorithms for turret movement and aiming.
  • Apply applied mathematics in practice: coordinate transformations, filtering (Kalman), geometry, timing.
  • Debug real hardware and support field testing of deployed systems.

What we're looking for

  • 4+ years of embedded software development (Linux, C++).
  • Hands-on experience with LiDAR and/or thermal camera integration.
  • Solid math background: linear algebra, geometry, filtering.
  • Experience with control algorithms, stabilization, or motion systems.
  • Comfortable working close to hardware (UART/I2C/SPI/CAN) and making decisions independently.

Will be a plus

  • Turrets, gimbals, drones, robotics, or other unmanned systems.
  • Sensor fusion, target tracking, PID control.
  • ROS2, GStreamer, OpenCV, edge AI pipelines.

What we offer

  • Direct contribution to the defense of Ukraine - short path from code to field deployment.
  • Ownership of architectural and integration decisions.
  • Competitive compensation based on experience.
  • Temporary military service exemption for work on defense-critical projects.

About the client:

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly developing company founded by experienced professionals. They offer exciting software engineering opportunities for Ukrainian engineers and work with clients both locally and internationally. They provide a full range of software development services, across multiple business verticals and a broad technological landscape.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
