About the Role

For our client, we are looking for two experienced Project Managers to join the delivery function of a UK financial services organisation.

These are long-term B2B contract roles focused on managing business and IT change initiatives end to end. You will report into the Delivery Manager and take ownership of multiple projects in parallel, ensuring effective governance, stakeholder alignment, risk management, budget control, and clear delivery reporting.

The role requires strong communication skills and confidence working directly with UK stakeholders on a daily basis. The client places particular emphasis on communication quality, clarity, and the ability to build trust across technical and business teams.

The positions are remote and suitable for candidates based in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Poland with EU nationality. Occasional travel to the UK is required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage business and IT change projects from initiation through delivery and closure.
  • Run multiple projects in parallel while maintaining clear priorities and delivery control.
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Maintain effective project governance and ensure delivery processes are followed consistently.
  • Manage change-control processes and assess the impact of scope or requirement changes.
  • Track project progress and provide clear, accurate status reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Coordinate delivery activities across business, technology, and operational teams.
  • Facilitate project planning, milestone tracking, and dependency management.
  • Identify delivery risks early and drive mitigation actions to resolution.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Support budget tracking and financial control across assigned projects.
  • Ensure project documentation is current, structured, and suitable for governance reviews.
  • Work closely with the Delivery Manager and other project stakeholders to maintain delivery momentum.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery practices.
  • Support successful handover and closure of completed initiatives.

Essential Requirements

  • Around 6–8 years of hands-on project management experience.
  • Current or very recent experience in a project delivery role.
  • Strong experience managing business and/or IT change projects end to end.
  • Ability to manage several projects in parallel.
  • Solid understanding of delivery governance.
  • Practical experience with change control.
  • Strong experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Experience managing project scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Strong status-reporting skills for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working with UK stakeholders.
  • English at C1 level or equivalent professional fluency, both spoken and written.
  • Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building skills.
  • Stable and consistent recent project-management career history.
  • EU nationality.
  • Based in Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Poland.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to the UK.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote, international environment.

Preferred Requirements

  • Consultancy or professional delivery-organisation experience.
  • Financial services experience.
  • Experience in another regulated industry.
  • Exposure to large programmes with multiple workstreams.
  • Experience working across both business and technology change.
  • Scrum certification.
  • PRINCE2 certification or equivalent project-management qualification.
  • Previous experience working with UK-based organisations or stakeholders.

What We Value

We value Project Managers who combine strong delivery discipline with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills. You should be comfortable taking ownership, maintaining structure in complex environments, and keeping projects moving even when priorities or dependencies change.

The ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with senior stakeholders is especially important. We are looking for people who can build trust, surface issues early, and provide a clear view of project status without unnecessary complexity.

What You Can Expect

  • Long-term engagement rather than a short-term project assignment.
  • Responsibility for business and IT change projects from start to finish.
  • Daily interaction with UK stakeholders.
  • A role within an established delivery function, reporting to a Delivery Manager.
  • Opportunity to manage several projects in parallel.
  • Remote working from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Poland.
  • Occasional travel to the UK.
  • Exposure to financial-services change initiatives.

What We Offer

  • Project / Industry: Financial services; business and IT change delivery.
  • Location: Remote from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, or Poland.
  • Contract Type: B2B contractor.
  • Compensation: €40–45/hour.
  • Start Date: ASAP.
  • Work Model: Remote, with occasional travel to the UK.
  • Eligibility: EU nationality required.
  • Open Positions: 2.
  • Engagement: Long-term assignment.

Recruitment Process

  • CV Screening: Applications are reviewed within 24 hours.
  • Pre-Screening Interview: A brief Q&A session, automated or with a recruiter, designed to learn more about your experience related to the position. Automated Session (Recommended) – You can complete the session independently at a convenient time. The structured questions and follow-ups are designed to capture detailed, role-relevant experience and can support faster hiring-manager feedback. Session with a Recruiter – You can complete the same pre-screening with a recruiter. The discussion may be less detailed and feedback may take slightly longer.
  • Shortlisting: Qualified candidates are presented to the hiring manager for review.
  • Formal Interviews: Discussions with the hiring manager or project team, with feedback typically provided within 1–2 weeks.
  • Offer and Onboarding: Successful candidates receive a formal offer and begin the onboarding process.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
