Jouw rol bij Air Products

Ben jij een ervaren stressbestendige operator die zelfstandig kan werken in een complexe industriële omgeving? Als Procesoperator bij Air Products in Gent speel je een sleutelrol in de veilige, betrouwbare en efficiënte dagelijkse werking van onze productie-installatie.

  • Zelfstandig en veilig operationele taken uitvoeren binnen de productieomgeving, met strikte naleving van de geldende veiligheids-, milieu- en kwaliteitsprocedures.
  • Productieprocessen via het Distributed Control System (DCS) en in het veld bedienen, monitoren en bijsturen, met bijzondere aandacht voor procesoptimalisatie en continuïteit.
  • Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO)-procedures toepassen en opvolgen bij onderhouds- en interventiewerkzaamheden om de veiligheid van medewerkers en installaties te waarborgen.
  • P&ID’s (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) interpreteren en gebruiken bij het uitvoeren van processtappen, troubleshooting en de voorbereiding van werkzaamheden.
  • Werkvergunningen opstellen, beoordelen en opvolgen, inclusief het inschatten van risico’s en het toepassen van passende beheersmaatregelen.
  • Staalnames, preventieve onderhoudstaken en inspecties aan installaties uitvoeren, zowel in het veld als vanuit de controlekamer.
  • Chauffeurs en collega’s begeleiden en opleiden en actief bijdragen aan kennisdeling binnen het team.

Als onze Procesoperator ben of heb je...

  • Een diploma TSO Procestechnieken, Elektromechanica, Chemie of een vergelijkbare technische richting. Aantoonbare ervaring als procesoperator binnen een industriële productie- of procesomgeving. Goede kennis van processturing, zowel vanuit de controlekamer als in het veld.
  • Ervaring met het toepassen van LOTO-procedures en het strikt naleven van veiligheidsvoorschriften.
  • Goede kennis van destillatie en/of vloeistof- en gasscheidingsprocessen.
  • Vaardigheid in het lezen en interpreteren van P&ID’s en het toepassen ervan bij troubleshooting en werkvoorbereiding.
  • Ervaring met het opstellen, beoordelen en opvolgen van werkvergunningen.
  • Een sterk veiligheidsbewustzijn en verantwoordelijkheidsgevoel.
  • Analytisch en probleemoplossend vermogen.
  • Goede communicatieve vaardigheden en een constructieve teamspirit.
  • De flexibiliteit om in ploegendienst te werken.
  • Ervaring binnen de chemische procesindustrie of een vergelijkbare procesomgeving.
  • Ervaring met het begeleiden of opleiden van collega’s en chauffeurs.
