Riche de plus de 90 ans d'expérience dans le domaine de l'aviation, AJW soutient plus de 1000 compagnies aériennes dans 100 pays. L'une des principales divisions du groupe AJW est AJW Technique, une installation de pointe pour l'entretien, la réparation et la révision (MRO) qui compte plus de 160 techniciens expérimentés et passionnés à Montréal.

Lors de la session d’hiver 2027, le titulaire du poste sera en mesure d'épauler les ingénieurs et les techniciens de production en matière de conception d'outillage et d'instructions de réparation.

Rôle :

  • Participer à l’identification et à l’approvisionnement des composants et des matériaux nécessaires pour répondre aux besoins de la production.
  • Examiner les rapports de démontage et d’inspection afin de contribuer à la préparation d’estimations préliminaires des coûts et d’identifier des possibilités de réduction des coûts.
  • Soutenir l’équipe des achats dans l’obtention de prix concurrentiels et de délais de livraison auprès des fournisseurs.
  • Effectuer des recherches de marché de base sur les pièces et les matériaux afin de soutenir les activités d’établissement des prix, d’analyse des coûts et de soumission.
  • Effectuer le suivi des rapports d’avancement des réparations et signaler à l’équipe tout retard ou problème potentiel.
  • Contribuer au maintien de relations de travail positives avec les fournisseurs grâce à des communications régulières.
  • Mettre à jour et valider les informations relatives aux prix des fabricants d’équipement d’origine (OEM) dans les systèmes internes afin d’assurer l’exactitude des soumissions aux clients.
  • Participer à l’identification des fournisseurs et contribuer aux initiatives liées aux stratégies d’approvisionnement.
  • Soutenir l’analyse des écarts et des anomalies de facturation.
  • Contribuer au suivi de la conformité des fournisseurs au niveau des pièces et signaler les problèmes lorsque requis.
  • Soutenir les activités de facturation, notamment la vérification des documents, le suivi des litiges et les activités de rapprochement.

One of the main divisions of the AJW Group is AJW Technique, a state-of-the-art component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility with over 160 experienced and passionate technicians in Montreal.

During the 2027 Winter semester, the incumbent of this position will be responsible for supporting sourcing and purchasing of materials, spare parts, and components necessary to meet production demands, as well as managing repair orders with external suppliers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Assist in identifying and sourcing components and materials to support production needs.
  • Review disassembly and inspection reports to help prepare preliminary cost estimates and identify potential cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Support the purchasing team in obtaining competitive pricing and delivery timelines from suppliers.
  • Conduct basic market research on parts and materials to support pricing, cost analysis, and quoting activities.
  • Track repair progress reports and flag potential delays or issues to the team.
  • Help maintain positive working relationships with suppliers through regular communication.
  • Update and validate OEM pricing information in internal systems to support accurate customer quotes.
  • Assist in supplier identification and contribute to purchasing strategy initiatives.
  • Support the analysis of billing variances and discrepancies.
  • Help monitor parts-level compliance with suppliers and escalate issues when required.
  • Assist with billing activities, including document review, dispute tracking, and reconciliation support.

Exigences:

  • Être actuellement inscrit(e) dans un programme collégial ou universitaire en gestion de la chaîne d’approvisionnement ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Démontrer un intérêt marqué pour l’approvisionnement, la chaîne d’approvisionnement, l’analyse des coûts ou les opérations manufacturières.
  • Posséder une compréhension de base des processus d’achat, de la gestion des stocks ou des processus d’affaires, acquise dans le cadre académique ou de projets.
  • Être à l’aise avec les données, les chiffres et les rapports, avec une bonne attention aux détails.
  • Maîtriser Microsoft Excel et posséder une connaissance de base de Microsoft Office ou de Google Workspace.
  • Posséder de bonnes aptitudes en communication, en français et en anglais, afin d’assurer des échanges professionnels et efficaces avec les équipes internes et les fournisseurs.
  • Être capable de prioriser les tâches et de respecter les échéances avec l’encadrement nécessaire.

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Strong interest in procurement, supply chain, cost analysis, or manufacturing operations.
  • Basic understanding of purchasing, inventory management, or business processes (academic or project-based).
  • Comfortable working with data, numbers, and reports; attention to detail is important.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (or Google Workspace).
  • Good communication skills in both English and French to guaranty professional and efficient interaction with internal teams and suppliers.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with guidance.
