Sommaire du poste:

Les responsabilités principales du technicien en entretien et calibration inclus mais ne sont pas limitées à ce qui suit : voir à l'installation, l'entretien, le dépannage, la remise en état, la réparation et la modification d'équipements industriels, qu'il s'agisse d'équipements de production, de machines-outils, de matériel de manutention ou de tout autre type d'équipement industriel. Il doit également voir à l’entretien du bâtiment ainsi que des systèmes de ventilation et électriques. Au besoin, il effectue la calibration des outils et d’équipements.

Principales responsabilités:

  • Participer à l'inspection, le diagnostic et la calibration de nos équipements.
  • Réparer les machines lorsqu'elles tombent en panne (électrique, pneumatique, mécanique)
  • Effectuer des travaux d’amélioration aux systèmes et produire des rapports d’entretien;
  • Assurer la maintenance préventive et à l'entretien des équipements.
  • Agir à titre de soutien technique pour les gestionnaires en planification, en construction et pour les professionnels externes et employés de maintenance;
  • Installer, déplacer ou remplacer divers équipements (meubles, équipements de production, etc.)
  • Participer aux modifications d’équipements et à l’installation de nouvelles machines de production.
  • Effectuer toute tâche générale de maintenance du bâtiment requise

One of the main divisions of the AJW Group is AJW Technique, a state-of-the-art component Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) facility with over 150 experienced and passionate technicians in Montreal.

Summary:

The primary responsibilities of the Maintenance and Calibration Technician include, but are not limited to, the following: overseeing the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, restoration, repair, and modification of industrial equipment, whether it is production equipment, machine tools, handling equipment, or any other type of industrial equipment. The technician is also responsible for the maintenance of the building as well as ventilation and electrical systems. If necessary, they perform calibration of tools and equipment.

Main responsibilities:

  • Participate in the inspection, diagnosis, and calibration of our equipment.
  • Repair machines when they break down (electrical, pneumatic, mechanical).
  • Perform improvement work on systems and produce maintenance reports.
  • Ensure preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep.
  • Provide technical support to managers in planning, construction, and to external professionals and maintenance staff.
  • Install, move, or replace various equipment (furniture, production equipment, etc.).
  • Participate in equipment modifications and the installation of new production machines.
  • Perform any required general building maintenance tasks.

Exigences du poste:

  • DEP en mécanique industrielle, Diplôme d’études collégiales (DEC) en technologie de la mécanique du bâtiment ou dans un domaine d’études connexe.
  • 3 à 5 ans d’expérience de travail pertinente.
  • Connaissances informatiques (MS Office) et/ou d’un système de gestion des opérations (ERP).
  • Habiletés à organiser, planifier et prioriser sa charge de travail en fonction des objectifs et des priorités de l’entreprise.
  • Orienté vers la production (soit la capacité de comprendre et de suivre les politiques et procédures de l'entreprise afin de remplir les exigences du poste selon les bases établies – mesures de performance).
  • Esprit d'équipe (attitude coopérative favorisant l'amélioration des processus et la résolution de problèmes).
  • Habiletés à communiquer clairement, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral (le bilinguisme, français et anglais, est nécessaire pour communiquer efficacement avec les différentes parties prenantes).

Job Requirements:

  • DEP in Industrial Mechanics, College Diploma (DEC) in Building Mechanical Technology, or in a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Computer skills (MS Office) and/or an operations management system (ERP).
  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize workload based on the company's objectives and priorities.
  • Production-oriented (ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures to meet job requirements on an established basis - performance measures).
  • Team spirit (a cooperative attitude for process improvement and problem solving).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal (bilingualism in French and English is required to effectively communicate with various stakeholders).
