Job Title: Vocational Trainer - NCC

Location: Guwahati (Assam)

Employment Type: Part-Time

Role Summary:

As a Vocational Trainer – NCC you will be responsible for imparting vocational training aligned with National Cadet Corps (NCC) values, discipline, and skill development. As a trainer you will guide the students in building leadership qualities, teamwork, physical fitness, and civic responsibility, ensuring holistic development to prepare them for future opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct structured training sessions on NCC-related activities, drills, and skill-based modules.
  • Develop lesson plans, training schedules, and maintain training records.
  • Inculcate discipline, leadership, and team-building qualities among students.
  • Organize camps, community service programs, and other NCC-driven initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide students in preparing for NCC certifications and examinations.
  • Coordinate with school authorities, program managers, and other stakeholders for smooth implementation of training.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and adherence to NCC protocols during training and activities.
  • Submit periodic reports on student progress and training outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduates in any discipline.
  • Mandatory: NCC ‘B’ or ‘C’ Certificate holder..
  • Prior experience in training, teaching, or working with youth will be an added advantage.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
  • Physical fitness and willingness to participate in outdoor activities, camps, and drills.
  • Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, documentation, reporting).
