WE ARE HIRING | SALES ENGINEER – ABU DHABI

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Experience: Minimum 2+ Years in Relevant Sales Qualification: Diploma / Bachelor's Degree Industry: Industrial Products / Engineering Supplies

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in industrial product sales, excellent customer relationships, and a good understanding of the Abu Dhabi industrial market.

Candidates with a Welding Sales Engineer background and strong technical knowledge of welding products will be highly preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sell and promote industrial products including Welding, Lifting, Safety, Abrasives, Hand Tools, and related products
  • Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base
  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts
  • Conduct regular customer and project site visits
  • Prepare quotations, follow up, negotiate, and close orders
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations
  • Provide technical assistance and product recommendations to customers
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing
  • Identify new projects, customers, dealers, and business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities, and follow-ups in ERP systems
  • Follow up on payments and ensure collections within approved credit terms
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant sales experience
  • Prior work experience in the Abu Dhabi region is required
  • Experience working with or supporting ADNOC and/or NPCC projects is highly preferred
  • Experience in industrial products / engineering supplies is preferred
  • Welding Sales Engineer experience is highly preferred
  • Strong technical knowledge of welding equipment, consumables, and related products
  • Proven track record in B2B sales and business development
  • Strong customer relationship and negotiation skills
  • Ability to identify and develop new customers and business opportunities
  • Good knowledge of MS Office and ERP/Sales systems
  • UAE Driving License is preferred
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, proactive, and results-driven

IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have an established Abu Dhabi industrial customer network, experience dealing with ADNOC/NPCC or related projects, and a strong technical and commercial understanding of welding and industrial products.
