Position: Senior Cost Control Engineer

Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Cost Control Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost control and project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing project budgets and ensuring cost efficiency. As a Senior Cost Control Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain project budgets, cost control plans, and cost tracking systems - Monitor project expenses and compare them to the approved budget, identifying and addressing any discrepancies - Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that project costs are accurately estimated and controlled - Analyze project data and provide regular cost reports to management, highlighting any potential issues or areas for improvement - Identify cost-saving opportunities and make recommendations to optimize project spending - Review and approve project invoices and change orders, ensuring they are in line with the budget and scope of work - Manage project cash flow and ensure timely payments to vendors and contractors - Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and costs, and provide guidance to project teams on cost control measures - Mentor and train junior cost control engineers, providing guidance and support as needed

Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field - Minimum of 7 years of experience in cost control, preferably in the construction industry - Strong knowledge of cost control principles, methods, and best practices - Experience with project management software and cost control tools - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
