Position Overview

Alarm.com (ALRM) is a profitable, growing technology company delivering cloud-based software and connected device solutions in the Internet of Things (IoT) space. As we continue to grow and scale globally, our ERP and finance systems are critical to operational efficiency, financial accuracy, scalability, and cross functional alignment across the organization.

We are seeking a Program Manager to lead and coordinate key initiatives across Alarm.com’s Finance Systems portfolio, including ERP platforms, billing systems, procurement applications, and related finance technology initiatives. This individual contributor role will help drive execution across cross functional programs by managing timelines, dependencies, risks, communications, and operational coordination across multiple teams.

This role is ideal for someone with strong program or project management experience who can independently manage workstreams, improve organizational alignment, and help drive successful delivery across business critical finance systems initiatives.

The Program Manager will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Billing, Operations, and external implementation partners in a highly visible and collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and coordinate Finance Systems initiatives across ERP, billing, procurement, and related operational platforms
  • Manage project timelines, dependencies, risks, action items, and communication across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Operations, and external vendors to drive program execution and delivery alignment
  • Drive governance activities including status reporting, stakeholder updates, meeting coordination, and issue tracking
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to support planning, execution, and rollout of finance systems enhancements and transformation initiatives
  • Track cross functional dependencies and proactively identify and mitigate delivery risks or operational impacts
  • Facilitate prioritization discussions, milestone tracking, and follow through across project teams
  • Coordinate with implementation partners and vendors to support execution against agreed timelines and deliverables
  • Maintain program documentation, reporting, communication plans, and operational processes across initiatives
  • Drive process improvement efforts that enhance execution consistency, visibility, and cross team coordination
  • Support organizational readiness and change management activities related to finance systems initiatives
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience

  • 5–8 years of experience in program management, project management, business operations, or related roles supporting enterprise systems or operational initiatives
  • Experience managing or coordinating cross functional projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies
  • Experience working with Finance, Accounting, ERP, billing, procurement, or operational systems initiatives
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive follow through
  • Experience coordinating timelines, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder communication across projects or programs
  • Ability to independently drive programs and influence cross functional stakeholders without direct authority
  • Experience working with vendors, implementation partners, or external consulting teams is a plus
  • Ability and willingness to learn and use AI tools to improve productivity

Domain Knowledge

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, finance systems, or enterprise operational platforms
  • Understanding of project coordination, program governance, and cross functional delivery processes
  • Ability to manage dependencies and support risk mitigation across multiple workstreams
  • Working knowledge of finance or operational business processes is preferred
  • Ability to quickly understand business workflows and support operational transformation efforts

Ways of Working

  • Organized, proactive, and detail oriented
  • Collaborative and effective in cross functional environments
  • Comfortable operating in evolving environments with changing priorities and ambiguity
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive work forward
  • Effective communicator with both technical and non technical stakeholders
  • Hands on and execution focused while maintaining awareness of broader program goals
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and scalable processes

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting ERP implementations or finance systems transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with environments that include both homegrown and third party enterprise systems
  • Experience supporting governance, PMO, or portfolio coordination activities
  • Exposure to SaaS, subscription, or hardware related business models
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and other Microsoft productivity and collaboration tools
  • PMP, Agile, or related project/program management certifications are a plus

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
