About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on, creative and content-driven Social Media Manager to own and grow Alea’s presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram and other relevant digital channels.

The person in this role will be responsible for developing and managing Alea’s monthly social media content plan, proactively proposing new ideas and formats, creating and editing content, coordinating publishing schedules, engaging with our online communities and analysing the performance of each channel.

You will report to the Head of PR & Communications and work closely with the Head of Marketing, Megan, our Content Specialist, the Design team, Product team and other internal stakeholders to transform company news, product updates, industry insights, events and business initiatives into engaging, channel-specific content.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution: someone who can build a content plan, record and edit content, write compelling copy, manage multiple channels and use performance data to continuously improve results.

Key Responsibilities

1. Social Media Strategy and Monthly Content Planning

  • Develop and manage a structured monthly social media content plan aligned with Alea’s marketing priorities, business objectives, product launches, events and industry calendar.
  • Proactively propose new content ideas, formats, campaigns and storytelling opportunities.
  • Define the most appropriate content pillars, formats, publishing frequency and messaging for each platform.
  • Manage the complete content workflow, from ideation and briefing to production, approval, scheduling and publication.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect the information and materials required to deliver content on time.
  • Work closely with Megan, our Content Specialist, to align the social media plan with the wider editorial calendar, content priorities and upcoming campaigns.
  • Maintain an up-to-date editorial calendar and ensure a consistent flow of relevant content throughout the month.
  • Adapt content to the audience, purpose and best practices of each channel.
  • Ensure all content follows Alea’s brand positioning, tone of voice and visual identity.

2. Content Creation, Recording and Editing

  • Act as a hands-on content creator for Alea, producing engaging content for social media and other digital channels.
  • Record video content at the office, conferences, events, interviews, product presentations and behind-the-scenes moments.
  • Edit videos into Reels, Shorts, interviews, event recaps and other short-form or long-form formats.
  • Repurpose webinars, events, presentations and interviews into multiple pieces of social media content.
  • Write engaging captions, scripts, headlines, interview questions and calls to action.
  • Collaborate with the Content Specialist to adapt articles, interviews, thought-leadership pieces and other editorial materials into effective social media content.
  • Create platform-specific content for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, Telegram and other relevant channels.
  • Work with the Design team on more complex visual assets, animations, branded templates and campaign materials.
  • Ensure all audiovisual content is professional, on-brand and optimized for each platform.
  • Stay up to date with content formats, editing styles and social media trends, identifying which ones are relevant to Alea’s B2B audience.

3. Channel Management and Community Engagement

  • Manage Alea’s day-to-day presence across its social media channels.
  • Schedule and publish content consistently according to the approved content plan.
  • Monitor comments, messages, mentions and relevant industry conversations.
  • Engage with clients, partners, operators, industry professionals and other members of the iGaming community.
  • Support relevant employee advocacy and leadership content when required.
  • Amplify PR, event, product and company content in a timely manner.
  • Protect and strengthen Alea’s tone of voice across every interaction.
  • Identify opportunities to join relevant industry conversations and increase the visibility of the brand.

4. Channel Analysis and Optimization

  • Regularly assess the role, audience and performance of each social media channel.
  • Identify which platforms and content formats should be prioritized based on Alea’s objectives and audience behaviour.
  • Analyse reach, impressions, engagement, audience growth, video views, website traffic and conversions.
  • Compare performance by channel, topic, format and content pillar.
  • Use insights to improve future content plans, publishing schedules and creative approaches.
  • Identify underperforming channels or formats and recommend actions to improve, reposition or deprioritize them.
  • Monitor competitors, B2B marketing trends and relevant conversations within the iGaming industry.

5. YouTube and Social Video Content

  • Publish and manage Alea’s social video content on YouTube and other relevant social media channels.
  • Ensure video titles, descriptions, thumbnails and supporting copy are accurate, engaging and aligned with Alea’s brand.
  • Adapt and repurpose content from events, webinars, interviews and company activities into engaging social media videos.
  • Create and edit short-form video content tailored to each platform and audience.
  • Coordinate with the Design team when additional visual assets or branded elements are required.
  • Monitor video performance and use the results to improve future content.

6. Website and Blog Content

  • Transform interviews, events, product information and industry insights into engaging, SEO-friendly blog articles.
  • Upload and publish company news, product updates, event recaps and thought-leadership content.
  • Keep the blog and relevant website sections current, clean and well organized.
  • Coordinate website content updates with the appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure website content is accurate, engaging, on-brand and optimized for organic visibility.

7. Collaboration with the Content Specialist

  • Work closely with Megan, our Content Specialist, to ensure strong alignment between Alea's editorial content and social media activity.
  • Coordinate content calendars, priorities, messaging and delivery timelines to ensure both roles work in a complementary and efficient way.
  • Transform long-form editorial content, interviews, articles and industry insights into platform-specific social media formats.
  • Share social media trends, audience feedback and channel-performance insights with the Content Specialist to inform future editorial opportunities.
  • Define clear ownership and deadlines for shared content projects, avoiding duplication and ensuring a smooth workflow from content creation to distribution.
  • Collaborate on campaigns, product launches, events and other strategic initiatives that require both editorial and social media content.

8. Analytics and Reporting

  • Track performance across social media platforms, YouTube Studio and website analytics.
  • Prepare concise monthly reports covering results, trends, key learnings and recommended next steps.
  • Present insights to the Head of PR & Communications and translate performance data into practical actions.
  • Monitor progress against agreed KPIs and campaign objectives.
  • Use data to continuously optimize the monthly content plan and channel strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • Native-level or full professional proficiency in English, with excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • At least 1–2 years of experience in social media management, content creation or digital content.
  • Experience developing and managing monthly social media content plans.
  • Demonstrable experience creating, recording and editing video content for social media.
  • Experience managing business or brand accounts across platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and YouTube.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn content strategy and B2B audience engagement.
  • Hands-on knowledge of content management systems, YouTube Studio and social media scheduling tools.
  • Strong editorial instincts and the ability to transform interviews, events or technical information into engaging content.
  • Ability to analyse channel performance and translate insights into practical recommendations.
  • Organized, proactive and comfortable managing several content streams simultaneously.
  • Confident coordinating with senior leadership and multiple internal stakeholders.
  • Creative but structured, with the ability to move from ideas to consistent execution.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
