Wir suchen einen erfahrenen AI Engineer mit starkem Software-Engineering-Hintergrund, der komplexe agentische KI-Systeme konzipiert, entwickelt und produktionsreif umsetzt. Im Fokus stehen die Entwicklung und Orchestrierung von AI Agents, die Integration von LLMs in bestehende Unternehmenssysteme sowie der Aufbau skalierbarer GenAI-Anwendungen. Dazu gehören insbesondere Agent Orchestration, State Management, Tool Calling, Knowledge Retrieval und AI Evaluation.

Wir suchen Dich ab sofort an einem unserer deutschen Standorte in München, Nürnberg, Leipzig, Berlin, Essen oder Frankfurt am Main!

Deine Aufgaben

  • Konzeption und Entwicklung agentischer KI-Systeme und Multi-Agent-Workflows
  • Implementierung von Agent Orchestration, State Management und Tool Calling
  • Entwicklung von RAG- und Document-Understanding-Pipelines
  • Integration von LLM-Komponenten, APIs und bestehenden Enterprise-Systemen
  • Aufbau automatisierter Evaluations-, Testing- und Monitoring-Pipelines
  • Implementierung von Guardrails, Human-in-the-Loop und Fehlerbehandlung
  • Deployment und Weiterentwicklung von GenAI-Anwendungen bis zur Produktionsreife

Dein Profil

​​​​Data ist auch in Deiner DNA? Das solltest Du mitbringen:

  • Erfahrung & Expertise: Du verfügst über mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in Software Engineering und AI-Entwicklung sowie fundierte praktische Erfahrung mit komplexen LLM- und Agentic-AI-Systemen, idealerweise im produktiven Enterprise-Umfeld.
  • Python & Software Engineering: Du beherrschst Python auf Expertenniveau und bist sicher im Umgang mit Software Design Patterns, Async Programming, Testing und Clean Code.
  • Agentic AI & LLM Engineering: Du hast praktische Erfahrung mit Frameworks wie LangGraph oder LangChain sowie mit Agent Orchestration, State Management, Tool Calling, Prompt Engineering und der Integration von LLM APIs.
  • RAG & Retrieval: Du bringst fundierte Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung von RAG-Pipelines mit, insbesondere in Embeddings, Vector Search, Hybrid Search und Reranking.
  • Data & AI Platforms: Du hast Erfahrung mit Databricks, der Integration unterschiedlicher Datenquellen und der Entwicklung skalierbarer AI-Pipelines.
  • Backend & Integration: Du kennst dich mit FastAPI, REST APIs und Pydantic aus und hast Erfahrung in der Integration von KI-Anwendungen in bestehende Unternehmenssysteme.
  • LLMOps & DevOps: Du bist vertraut mit MLflow oder vergleichbaren Tools für Evaluation, Tracing und Monitoring und hast praktische Erfahrung mit Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes sowie Guardrails und Error Handling.
  • Arbeitsweise & Kommunikation: Du überzeugst durch eine ausgeprägte Hands-on-Mentalität, hohe technische Eigenständigkeit und die Fähigkeit, komplexe KI-Lösungen eigenverantwortlich zu konzipieren und produktionsreif umzusetzen. Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse runden dein Profil ab.

Idealerweise bringst du außerdem Folgendes mit:

  • Vertiefte Kenntnisse im Databricks-Ökosystem (Mosaic AI, Unity Catalog, Vector Search, Model Serving) sowie in Azure Cloud Services (Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps)
  • Erfahrung mit LLMOps- und Evaluation-Tools wie LangSmith, Langfuse, RAGAS oder Promptfoo
  • Know-how in Multi-Agent-Systemen, Model Context Protocol (MCP) und Agent-to-Agent-Kommunikation
  • Erfahrung mit Document Intelligence, insbesondere OCR, Dokumentklassifikation und Information Extraction
  • Branchenkenntnisse im Versicherungsumfeld, insbesondere in der Schadenbearbeitung und Prozessautomatisierung
