Wil je ouderen ondersteunen in hun dagelijkse leven en mee zorgen voor een zinvolle dagbesteding? Als begeleider wonen en leven combineer je nabijheid, creativiteit en zorgzaam handelen. Je leert bewoners kennen en draagt vanuit hun interesses, mogelijkheden en noden bij aan comfort, verbinding en levenskwaliteit.

Jobomschrijving

Als begeleider wonen en leven ben je actief betrokken bij het dagelijkse ritme, de groepsactiviteiten en het welzijn van bewoners. Samen met je collega’s bouw je aan een warme woonomgeving waar ouderen zich veilig en ondersteund voelen.

Dit houdt jouw functie in:

  • Individuele begeleiding: je volgt bewoners individueel op en speelt in op hun noden, zorgen en vragen.
  • Aangepaste groepsactiviteiten: je organiseert boeiende groepsmomenten op maat van de bewoners die bijdragen aan hun sociaal en mentaal welbevinden.
  • Warme woonomgeving: je draagt bij aan een veilige, huiselijke omgeving met aandacht voor comfort, rust, hygiëne, beweging en voeding, en zorgt mee voor sfeervolle decoratie.
  • Ondersteunende zorgtaken: je werkt nauw samen met verpleegkundigen en zorgkundigen en voert binnen je bevoegdheden ondersteunende zorgtaken uit, zoals temperatuur meten, wegen of helpen bij het nemen van medicatie.
  • Kwaliteitsgericht werken: je denkt mee na over hoe het wonen en leven in het woonzorgcentrum elke dag beter en aangenamer kan.

Over jou

Je werkt graag met ouderen en hebt aandacht voor wat hun dagelijks leven betekenisvol maakt. Je combineert een zorgzame houding met organisatietalent en neemt graag initiatief.

  • Passend zorgdiploma: je beschikt bij voorkeur over een diploma zorgkundige of een gelijkwaardig zorgdiploma.
  • Empathische houding: je biedt een luisterend oor en bent oprecht betrokken bij het welzijn van ouderen.
  • Creatief organisatietalent: je plant en organiseert groepsactiviteiten op maat van bewoners, neemt zelfstandig initiatieven en hebt oog voor gezelligheid en decoratie op de afdeling.
  • Zelfstandig werken: je neemt verantwoordelijkheid op en voert je taken zorgvuldig uit.
  • Flexibele inzetbaarheid: je bent bereid om volgens een variabel uurrooster te werken, inclusief één weekend op twee, en stelt je flexibel op voor activiteiten buiten de kantooruren.
  • Betrokken samenwerking: je werkt vlot samen met collega’s uit verschillende disciplines en draagt actief bij aan een warme woonomgeving.
