ABOUT THE ROLE
We are a wearable military robotics company with a field office in Kyiv, and we are hiring a Mechanical
Engineer who turns designs into real parts, fast. You will take CAD files and instructions from our
engineers abroad, produce finished parts within days, and fit them to our units on site. This is a hands-on
builder role, not a design role.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
• Get parts made from engineering CAD: CNC aluminum, laser-cut and bent sheet metal, metal and
nylon 3D printing, carbon fiber
• Work with suppliers to make designs easier to manufacture: tolerances, threads, radii, simpler
geometry
• Run same-day prints on our in-house 3D printer
• Hand-fit, drill, bend and assemble parts, and repair a unit within 24 hours when needed
• Fit new parts and upgrade our units between versions
• Build and maintain a network of fast local workshops
• Send a short daily update on what was made, what failed and what is at the supplier
WHAT YOU BRING
• Mechanical engineering background with real prototyping experience: parts you made, not only parts
you drew
• Strong CAD skills (SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or similar), including editing someone else's model for
manufacturability
• Good knowledge of machining, sheet metal and 3D printing
• Hands-on workshop skills: assembly, hand tools, drilling, bending, fitting
• Working English for daily calls and written messages
• A self-directed approach: you take a brief and return with finished parts
• Based in Kyiv, able to work on-site full-time
NICE TO HAVE
• Experience at a drone, ground-robot or fabrication company
• Existing relationships with Kyiv suppliers and workshops
WHAT WE OFFER
• A full-time role at our Kyiv office
• Competitive compensation
• Direct work with our engineering team
• A start as soon as possible
