The posting

Who we are

Alpharun is an applied AI company helping enterprises in mortgage, insurance, and healthcare drive revenue. Our platform turns the behaviors of top sellers into AI Playbooks, coaches every rep against those standards, and deploys autonomous, long-horizon revenue agents that drive sales.

We’ve grown 10x in the past 6 months, and we’re hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to meet customer demand.

The role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you’ll build long-horizon AI revenue agents that autonomously drive revenue for our customers’ businesses. You’ll scope the workflow with executive leadership, connect Alpharun to their systems, and ship the product improvements that make each deployment possible.

This is a high-autonomy role for a customer-minded engineer who wants to own outcomes. You’ll work directly with customers to understand how their revenue is won and lost, then build agents that measurably move it.

What you’ll do

Build and launch voice agents and goal-oriented revenue agents in Alpharun that qualify leads, book appointments, collect documents, follow up, and move customers to the next stage of their journey. Integrate with customer systems, including CRMs, loan origination and policy systems, dialers and contact-center platforms, and internal APIs, so agents can read customer state and take action. Ship directly to the core product. When a deployment needs a capability we don’t have yet, you’ll build it so every customer benefits. Work hands-on with customer ops leaders, sales managers, and IT/security teams to scope use cases, map workflows, define success criteria, and run pilots. Bring what you learn in the field back into our roadmap and deployment playbook.

Why you should join

Team: We’re a tight-knit, ambitious team working together in our San Francisco office five days a week. Our founders, Paul and Henry Dornier, are twins and second-time founders who previously sold their first company to Front, where they helped the company grow from $10M to $100M in revenue. Rapid growth: Revenue has grown over 10x in the past 6 months, and customers are asking for more agents than we can deploy. Hard, real problems: You’ll work at the intersection of LLMs, real-time voice, and revenue-critical enterprise workflows. Every agent you ship has a measurable dollar outcome attached. Ownership: As one of our first Forward Deployed Engineers, you’ll define how Alpharun deploys agents and have meaningful influence over the product, our customers, and the company we build.

This role is intense but immensely rewarding. It’s ideal for someone with exceptional ambition, a bias toward action, and a desire to build an enduring enterprise company.

We’ll be most excited if you have

2+ years of experience building and shipping production software, ideally backend or full-stack, at a fast-moving company. Experience integrating with third-party APIs and enterprise systems, including REST, webhooks, auth, and messy real-world data. Hands-on experience building with LLMs: prompting, tool use, and evaluating output quality. Voice or telephony experience is a plus. Comfort in front of customers. You can run a technical working session, turn a business problem into a technical plan, and explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders. Strong product judgment about when to build a one-off and when to generalize into the platform. A track record of succeeding in environments with significant ambiguity, autonomy, and accountability. Extreme ambition and high expectations of yourself and the people around you.

If you don’t meet every qualification but resonate deeply with our mission and approach to building, we strongly encourage you to apply. We value aptitude, ambition, and learning velocity above all.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
