Summary

We're looking for a Staff Accountant / Sr Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations across our US and UK entities, including billing, accounts payable, monthly close and account reconciliations. This is a hands-on, entry-to-mid-level role suited for someone detail-oriented and comfortable working across multi-currency transactions. This role plays a key part in the Company’s finance consolidation plan, taking over day-to-day billing and accounts payable support as well as absorbing core month-end close tasks across our US and UK operating entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts/entities
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
  • Assist with month-end close tasks (accruals, prepaids, journal entries)
  • Maintain accurate, well-documented records to support audit readiness
  • Support intercompany transaction tracking between US and UK entities
  • Support billing/invoicing for both US and UK entities, ensuring accuracy across multiple currencies
  • Manage full-cycle accounts payable: invoice entry, coding, approval routing, and payment processing
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting, analysis and process improvement initiatives
  • Absorb and execute recurring month-end close tasks previously supported by external accounting advisors
  • Preparation and review of Deferred Revenue schedules

What We’d Like to See in the Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 1–3 years of accounting experience (with exposure to AP, billing, and reconciliations preferred)
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software and Maxio
  • Familiarity with multi-currency or multi-entity accounting a plus
  • Strong Excel skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines across time zones (US/UK)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to UK accounting/VAT basics
  • Experience supporting month-end close in a small/mid-size company
