AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a business developer for the AWS Managed Service Provider Program (MSP). AWS is the world's leading cloud provider with the most comprehensive and broadly adopted portfolio of cloud services and an innovative community of customers and partners. As a business developer for the MSP Program, you will support the execution of AWS programs and development activities. You will help prioritize new launches based on strategic goals, define requirements, contribute to innovative benefits, and support the growth of MSP partners.

This role has a global scope and you will collaborate with a cross section of AWS teams including solution architects, partner management, sales, technology, marketing, PR and operations. The ideal candidate will have high standards and a passion for delivering features which delight customers, process improvement, and sound business judgment with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, high-energy and fast paced environment. Being a data-driven, analytical decision maker with strong written and oral communication skills is key in this role.

Key job responsibilities - Support the execution of AWS's MSP programs and value proposition for worldwide MSP partners

- Contribute to programs that support the 4 motions of partner collaboration: Build, GTM, Sell and Grow

- Collaborate with partner management, sales, and technical teams to identify joint goals around sales opportunities, funding, and technical training to benefit partners

- Help introduce new approaches to engage partners and improve operational excellence

- Evaluate and analyze program performance based on business strategy and customer behavior and needs

- Track, measure, and report on the performance of designation programs and share results with stakeholders

- 2+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience - Experience working with a cross functional team - 2+ years of project/program management experience - Experience supporting strategies that contribute to business decisions - 1+ years of enterprise scale infrastructure or cloud programs/projects experience in a related industry

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations - Experience in negotiating agreements with an understanding of legal terminology and reasoning

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers comprehensive benefits including health insurance (medical, dental, vision, prescription, Basic Life & AD&D insurance and option for Supplemental life plans, EAP, Mental Health Support, Medical Advice Line, Flexible Spending Accounts, Adoption and Surrogacy Reimbursement coverage), 401(k) matching, paid time off, and parental leave.
