The Campus Engagement Lead LAC will lead Latin American based university campus engagement and marketing strategy for early career talent, establishing dedicated marketing leadership to maximize school penetration across the Latin America & Caribbean region.
Reporting to the Global Leader of University Marketing and Campus Engagement, who leads a global team of marketing professionals, this individual contributor position will drive strategic school outreach marketing initiatives and channel optimization across LAC, collaborating with internal teams and external agencies. The role will lead campaign development and brand governance whilst supporting priority school engagement and strategic hiring initiatives throughout the region.
Key job responsibilities Lead comprehensive recruitment marketing strategy for the LAC region that drives inquiry generation, application quality, and hiring outcomes. Develop and execute targeted campaigns that resonate with student segments across universities throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Position Amazon as employer of choice in emerging fields like Generative AI and Robotics through compelling storytelling and channel optimization. Build metrics and analytics frameworks measuring campaign effectiveness and ROI. Adapt global and regional messaging for diverse LAC markets, ensuring cultural and linguistic relevance in Portuguese, Spanish, and English. LAC School Engagement & Partnership Activation
Dive deep into school relationships across LAC, developing customized strategies aligned with each university's culture and student demographics. Collaborate with team members on school engagement programming, events, and advertising to amplify university partnerships. Partner with University Relations Leads (URLs) to create targeted initiatives that strengthen key relationships and drive deeper engagement. Support strategic programs like Campus Brand Ambassador and Executive School Captain to amplify student and faculty influence. Brand Excellence
Translate Amazon's global Student Brand Promise into compelling regional narratives. Design innovative experiences and activations that position Amazon as a place where students build products people actually use. Ensure brand consistency across all LAC campus engagement channels.
A day in the life This role requires ability to work across multiple time zones, including AMER, EMEA, APJC which may result in starting your day earlier or ending your working day later on a regular occurrence to partner with the global team.

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements - Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) - Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs - Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages - Experience in professional non-internship marketing - Experience in developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs - Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners - Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
