The posting

The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is seeking a results-oriented Grid Delivery Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the single-threaded owner for delivering large-scale, high-voltage grid interconnection projects that connect the electrical grid to AWS data centres — directly enabling cloud capacity growth.

You will manage the full lifecycle of grid connection delivery, from initial power due diligence and grid application through design coordination, construction oversight, and energisation. You will work closely with utilities, transmission and distribution network operators, regulators, and local authorities to secure and deliver power infrastructure on time, on budget, and to specification. Internally, you will coordinate across design engineering, construction management, preconstruction, environmental, and real estate teams to ensure delivery to tight timelines.

This role requires strong commercial and technical energy expertise, the ability to navigate complex regulatory and utility landscapes, and a track record of delivering critical infrastructure under pressure. If you are energised by the intersection of energy infrastructure and technology and want to work on problems that directly enable the next generation of cloud services, we would like to hear from you.

Key job responsibilities The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team (IET) is seeking a results-orientated individual to join in the role of Grid Delivery Manager. In this role you will be responsible for delivering large-scale critical HV/ MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate for this role will have high-level technical understanding of critical HV /MV infrastructure projects including substations, cables and overhead lines, with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience in delivering HV & MV infrastructure projects/programs from design to energization. The candidate will need to possess strong communication skills, and ability to deliver with diverse teams such as design engineering, construction, planning, environmental and real estate teams, to ensure delivery to tight timelines. Stakeholder management and weekly reporting on key project risks & issues at senior management, director and vice president level will be the candidate’s responsibility.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
